‘Brad and I are the dorkiest people on the planet’

As her family grows from a full-on six to a mind-boggling eight, Angelina Jolie tells Eve – in an exclusive interview – how Brad, sticker charts and her mother’s memory have helped her to be a better parent

‘I have always been extremely thin,’ she says. ‘This is very, very large,’ she adds, clasping her bump with a laugh. ‘But I love being pregnant. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason.’

We’re in Cannes, where Angelina is promoting her two latest projects, animated film Kung Fu Panda and Clint Eastwood’s period drama Changeling. And I can’t hold back on the question at the forefront of everyone’s mind. The ‘Wow – two MORE children?’ question. I remind Angelina that last time we met, we were staying in the same hotel and I bumped into her and Brad in the lift. She wasn’t yet pregnant and they were talking about how careering round the world was not a life for their kids. And now their fabulous and unconventional family unit will be even bigger and more unwieldy…
